Mapping Canary Wharf: the first step towards providing autonomous services

Late last year, alongside Addison Lee Group, AXA XL and Canary Wharf Group, we launched a 3D street mapping exercise to record every kerb, road sign, landmark and traffic light in London’s iconic Canary Wharf district.

This was an extension of our wider partnership with Addison Lee Group. Together, we plan to bring autonomous services to London by 2021.

It is a huge step forward in bringing autonomous vehicles into mainstream use on the complex streets of London.
